In 2020 a remote sensing analysis of the effect of drought on the olive grove of Canena was carried out. For this purpose, Sentinel 2 satellite images were used and different humidity and photosynthetic indices were calculated, as well as some biophysical variables, such as LAI.
The time series of some of these climate variables were also analysed using resources available on the NASA AppEEARS website.
